Art has always been an essential part of Connors' life. He grew up in a household of artists. His mother an accomplished oil and watercolor painter, his sister a sculptor and brother an architect.

Primarily he works in oil but has explored drawing with pencil and charcoal, as well as dabbled in creating computer-generated art.

In addition, he has taken his photography skills and adapted them to creating video. His video pieces are mostly of a documentary style, often quickly paced to enhance the viewer's experience of watching the subject. This form of story-telling is relatively new to Connors, but a medium he will surely work in more in the future.
